El sujeto de una oración es la persona o cosa que lleva a cabo la acción del verbo o del cual se habla. 
My house is green.
Mary drives her car every morning.
John and Lily love music.
Smith and I like playing soccer.

Los pronombres en posición de sujeto son usados para reemplazar estas personas o cosas.
It is green.
She drives her car every morning.
They love music.
We like playing soccer.
